If you wish to upload your timeline to youtube.. not every format will turn out the same after the video is uploaded and converted to flash video by youtube. Some formats do turn out better than others. There are tones of ways and settings to do this and everyone has a different approach. Below is the combination I find work best for me.

1. Output timeline using compressor
2. Select MPEG-4 format
3. Edit the following on the Inspector windows:
- Video/Frame Rate 30
- Video/Bit Rate 1,400kps
- Audio/Set quality to High
- Audio/ Bit Rate 96kps
- Filter/ Sharpen Edge
4. Video size: 320x240
